What is Tegra, PowerVR, Snapdragon and Mali?

Tegra, developed by Nvidia, is a system-on-a-chip series for mobile devices such as smartphones, personal digital assistants, and mobile Internet devices. The Tegra integrates the ARM architecture processor central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU), northbridge, southbridge, and memory controller onto one package. The series emphasizes low power consumption and high performance for playing audio and video.

PowerVR is a division of Imagination Technologies (formerly VideoLogic) that develops hardware and software for 2D and 3D rendering, and for video encoding, decoding, associated image processing and Direct X, OpenGL ES, OpenVG, and OpenCL acceleration.

Snapdragon is a family of mobile system on chips by Qualcomm. Qualcomm considers Snapdragon a "platform" for use in smartphones, tablets, and smartbook devices. The Snapdragon application processor core, dubbed Scorpion, is Qualcomm's own design. It has many features similar to those of the ARM Cortex-A8 core and it is based on the ARM v7 instruction set, but theoretically has much higher performance for multimedia-related SIMD operations.

The Mali series of graphics processing units (GPUs) produced by ARM Holdings for licensing in various ASIC designs by ARM partners. Like other embedded IP cores for 3D support, the Mali GPU does not feature display controllers driving monitors. Instead it is a pure 3D engine that renders graphics into memory and hands the rendered image over to another core that handles the display.

How to Install Apps on My External SDcard?

There are many users asking us how to install / put apps on their external memory cards (external SDcards); and this fact made adding this guide possible.

Requirements:

DirectoryBind application
(!) ROOTED (!) device

Directory Bind Features:

Aimed at specific functionality and features (not idiot-proof).
You can create any number of Data -> Target directory pairs, mount them manually or choose to mount them on system boot (checkbox does that).
On/Off switch controls whole mount-on-boot function.
Diskette icon indicates if mount operation was successful, by taping it. You can mount/umount entry.
Icon changes if an application is using mounted entry.
DirectoryBind can tell what application is using this entry (tap at entry in use).
Long tap on entry (disabled) brings edit / delete window.
App auto umounts all entries on USB connected and remount after USB is disconnected (for now via BroadcardReceiver UMS_CONNECTED / UMS_DISCONNECTED).
The app shows notification and vibrates if auto unmount on USB fails.
If mounting all checked entries (ex. on boot) app is waiting specified time (def. 60 sec) if data directory is not available (happens sometimes at boot).

DirectoryBind is a tool created by Slig, a user from XDA Developers. It mounts a directory on external SD card as another directory (usually on internal SD).

Download the app and install it.
Open the app. Go to “Options” and select “Add new entry”.
You’ll see something like this:

4. Press and hold on “Text Field” under “Source Data”.

Note: You must have installed the game installer already. (i.e. The small 2-3 MB game which then downloads the whole data). You’ll see something like this:

Browse to your /mnt/extsd (i.e. MicroSD card) and create an empty folder by using the “New” button. Name it anything you like.

Note: no spaces in its name allowed.

5. Now press and hold on “Text field” under “Enter Target Path”. You’ll see a screen similar to above. Then browse to the data folder of a game.The location of this folder is different for different games. You can google to learn the game directory or ask at our Facebook page.

6. Check the “Transfer Files” from “Target to Data” check box.

7. Tap “Add”.

9. After the Data is moved, You’ll see this screen:

Details:

The icons which are green in the above screenshot will be gray. Tap that icon once. Then it will change its color to green as shown in the above picture. If the icon turns red, this means mounting has failed. This happens because an application is accessing one of the two folders or there is ”space” between the name of one of the folders.

Check if the game is running and force stop it from settings and / or remove the space from folder names. Then the icon should turn green.Green icon indicates that the mount is successful and you can start using your game / app.

Issues

Some users are not able to use this app. If it doesn’t work, here is solution:

Navigate to /system/etc/permissions
Edit the file “platform.xml”
Under the section WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. Add this below the line that is already there.
Reboot.

Halo sobat Petik Makna, Kali ini saya akan berkongsi info tentang Cara Memindahkan Aplikasi & Game Android ke SD Card Tanpa Root, Bagi anda yang hobi mengumpul aplikasi dan game Android pasti kerap kali jengkel kerana memori Android anda penuh gara-gara kebanyakan install Permainan dan Aplikasi . Hal ini memang menjadi momok bagi pengguna Android dengan memori Internal yang minimum. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hal ini iaitu dengan memindahkan aplikasi dan game Android anda ke memori external (SD Card).

Namun memang tidak semua peranti Android boleh menyokong ciri ini, dan juga tidak semua aplikasi boleh dipindahkan ke SD card. Ya, memang Aplikasi yang berkaitan dengan sistem android tidak boleh dipindahkan ke SD card kerana jelas berbahaya jika hal itu terjadi misalnya aplikasi Google Play. Untuk mengatasinya, anda boleh memindahkan aplikasi yang dipasang dari memori dalaman ke memori luaran secara aman tanpa perlu mengambil risiko seperti melakukan rooting atau langkah penggodaman berbahaya yang lain. Berikut ini adalah langkah-langkah yang boleh anda lakukan:
Cara Mudah dan Aman Memindahkan Aplikasi & Game Android ke SD Card Tanpa Rooting

1. Download file nya disini. Kemudian ekstrak ke PC. Fail yang anda ekstrak tersebut bernama "Enable Move To SD.bat".
2. Pastikan untuk memasang lebih dulu driver telefon ke PC anda, sehingga PC dapat mengenali telefon ketika dihubungkan.
3. Hidupkan USB debugging pada telefon dengan memberikan tanda semak di setting-> applications-> development-> USB Debugging. Khusus untuk telefon dengan OS teranyar Android 4.0, anda boleh mencari setting USB debugging dengan masuk ke setting-> developer options-> android debugging.

4. Hidupkan pula pemasangan APK dari sumber tak dikenali dengan memberi tanda semak di setting-> appplications-> Unknown sources. Atau anda pengguna telefon Android 4.0 boleh masuk ke setting-> security-> device administration-> Unknown sources.

5. Selepas itu, sambungkan telefon ke PC dengan menggunakan kabel data.
6. Setelah PC berjaya mengenali telefon anda, segera jalankan "Enable Move To SD".

7. Untuk memindahkan aplikasi dari memori dalaman ke memori luaran, silakan masuk ke setting-> applications-> manage applications. Lalu sentuh aplikasi yang ingin dipindahkan dengan memilih butang "Move to SD card".

1. Mula-mula download ultrasurf 9.5 kat bawah sini

Donwload ultrasurf di sini http://ultrasurf.us/support.html

2. Dah download... Open la...

3. Dah Open,ok pilih ''option'', untick ''start ie automatically at start''.

4. Pastu turun bawah, click proxy setting, n then tick ''direct used ultra surf ''...

kemudian exit..

5. Dalam browser yang korang guna tu, pergi kat "option" - "connection", set manual proxy 127.0.0.1 dengan port 9666

6. Sekarang connect 3G modem...ataupun jika anda mempunyai USB broadband maxis,atau mane2,masukkan je simkad celcom korang.Ade rezeki dapat lah.hehe

7. Dah connect, run ultrasurf 9.5, tunggu sampai dia cakap "successfully connected to server"

* Jika anda tak dapat connect guna ultrasurf tu. Sila Guna langkah ke-2 ini.

1. Dalam Ultrasurf - "Option" - "Proxy Setting" - "Manual Proxy Setting" - "Proxy Host" 10.128.1.242 "Proxy Port" 8080 - Ok - Close ultasurf - lepas tu open balik

* Kalau tak boleh jugak

2. Bukak UltraSulrf balik - "Proxy Setting" - tick "Direct use ultrasurf"

Sekarang dah boleh open browser yang telah di set manual proxy tadi, confirm boleh surf, youtube dan download walaupun credit prepaid celcom bb dah habis.

Perhatian!! ...

Jangan try benda ni masa kredit simcard tengah ada/banyak sebab aku tak jamin dia tak tolak kredit, tapi kalau kredit simcard dah abis, tak dak masalah,

CARA MERUBAH EXTERNAL MEMORI SD CARD SEBAGAI INTERNAL SD CARD

Kamu ingin tahu bagaimana caranya swap kad memori dalaman dengan kad memori luaran pada Android, sehingga kamu dapat bermain game2 seperti Asphalt 7 dan banyak permainan lain yang memerlukan memori simpanan yang besar.

Untuk melakukan Pertukaran external SDcard menjadi internal SDcard memerlukan akses root sehingga pastikan handheld sudah di Rooting ...

3.cari file vold.fstab kemudian Backup aja dulu (Jika menggunakan root explorer fail yang asli akan dicopy jadi vold.fstab.bak atau biar lebih aman lagi backup melalui Recovery Mode)

4.setelah itu edit vold.fstab, perhatikan contoh2 command dibawah ini hanya tukar posisi yang bertanda warna merah:

10.Jangan lupa untuk lakukan set permission jadi rw-rr (644)
9. Reboot

Tidak semua command vold.fstab disetiap telefon ataupun tablet sama seperti diatas. Sila cuba..

Walaubagaimanapun, sekarang terdapat pelbagai aplikasi yang dibangunkan untuk meng'hack' sama ada duit, emas, nyawa atau apa sahaja yang terdapat didalam satu-satu game tersebut. Antara aplikasi yang popular adalah GameCIH, GameKiller, GameGuardian, dan HaXplorer. Bagi admin, GameGuardian adalah yang terbaik dan akan digunakan untuk tutorial kali ini. Jom mulakan!

buka gameguardian, allow acces superuser dan buka game. klik ikon gameguardian , pergi ke bahagian setting, klik search region dan setkan ke All Regions.

cuba tengok duit korang ada berapa, disini kita ada 10000.

klik ikon search, dan masukkan nilai duit yang ada. dan klik search. search result akan dipaparkan(contoh:8600 found) selepas search result dipaparkan, klik back button.

seterusnya, kita perlu ubah nilai duit sama ada berkurang atau bertambah, ikut pilihan masing-masing. disini admin kurangkan nilai duit dengan membeli item

jadi, nilai duit kita sudah berkurang dari 10000 ke 7500.

ulang semula langkah diatas dengan memasukkan nilai duit yang baru iaitu 7500.

search result akan dipaparkan. kali ini bilangan 'found' sudah berkurangan. bergantung pada game, bilangan found 1 atau 2 adalah lebih baik. jika masih terdapat banyak nilai 'found', ulang semula langkah diatas dengan menambah atau mengurangkan nilai duit yang kedua tadi.(contoh:tadi kita ada 7500, jadi beli la apa-apa item untuk mengurangkan nilai duit tersebut).

disini kita ada 2 result found. klik pada result resebut dan klik save. buat untuk kedua-dua sekali.
klik pada ikon save(disebelah ikon search), akan ada 2 result yang kita save tadi. klik pada result tersebut dan edit. masukkan nilai duit yang korang nak seperti gambar dibawah.
